In the organisation, the Army, Navy & Air Force candidates are trained jointly which makes it the first tri-service training camp in the world.

\This year the exam is scheduled to be held two times, one in the next month that is April and the other one in the month of November.

Syllabus:
- The exam will be of 900 marks in total.
- There will be two sections: Mathematics and English-General Knowledge
- For Maths section:
120 Questions [MCQ type]
total marks: 300
2.5 marks for correct
-0.83 marks for incorrect
taken in both languages English & Hindi
- For English & General Knowledge section:
150 Questions [MCQ type]
total marks: 200+4004 marks for correct
-1.33 marks for incorrect
taken in both languages (for G.K)
only English language for English paper

Eligibility:
- Nationality:
- An Indian citizen or subj. to Bhutan or
- Tibetian refugee residing in India since 1 Jan 1962 or
- Person of Indian origin from Uganda, Kenya, Myanmar, Malawi, Zaire, Sri Lanka, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Ethiopia, Vietnam or Pakistan with the intention to get settled down permanently in India.
- Age limit: Born between 2/1/1999 and 1/1/2002
- Educational qualification:
- For the Army wing candidate must have been qualified from 12 class or any equivalent state board.
- For Navy/Airforce wing and 10+2 format candidates must have passed class 12th examination / any equivalent state board exam in all subjects or appearing for it.
Result:
- Will be declared in on-line mode on the web site.
- Candidates considered for SSB interview will be shortlisted in PDF format.
- After clearance of interview and following rounds declaration of final result will take place
